The swimming pool in Kirkham is called ‘Urban Splash’ and advance booking can be arranged for your group to have exclusive usage for an affordable price.
The walk into Kirkham across the fields is a little muddy but can be achieved in about half an hour.
There are several shops in the markey town and these include a Morrisons Supermarket, Subway and a Balti takeaway.
In Wesham, which is just a 10-minute walk away, is a small Co-Op, a Post Office and a very good chippy.
Before you enter Wesham, from the motorway, there is an Aldi and a KFC next to the AFC stadium.
The Catholic Church is at the top of Mowbreck lane and the CE Church is on the main road in Wesham.
